It is forbidden to eat the meat and milk of animals with round foot such as horse, donkey and mule, because the Tibetans worship the gods of them. It is forbidden to eat the animals of paws such as dog, cat, wolf and fox. It is forbidden to eat the birds with sharp beak such as hawk, crow, magpie or chicken, because they think the meat of these kinds of birds is not clean and will spread diseases. It is forbidden to eat the meat of dead cattle or sheep which should be buried deeply under the ground or it will spread the diseases. It is forbidden to eat seafood such as fish or shrimp. Some people think they stand for the gods, some think they cannot kill them, while other think they are degrading animals.
